

The patch release of RStudio works after changing my current R version back to 4.1.0, so all is well. Visual Studio Code is free and available on your favorite platform - Linux, macOS, and Windows.

You can also install the Preview of the RStudio -2 patch release, which is compatible with the arm 64 build of R 4.1.0. It looks like you can get around this by downloading the Intel version of R 4.1.0, and it will work with Rosetta 2. Anyone have thoughts on this? If I reinstall the older version of R will that fix it? Should I put on by big girl pants and use the straight console until RStudio releases a native compatible version?
